The Assistant Track and Field Coach will be responsible for the following:

The WHS Assistant Track and Field Coach reports directly to the Track Coach, Athletic Director and Principal and/or their designee.

 

All coaches recommended for hire must complete the following prior to employment:

  1. NFHS Coaching Fundamentals Certification (nfhslearn.com)
  2. Completion of Safe Schools Coursework (annually) and other Bethel School District Requirements
  3. Fingerprinting/Criminal Background Check
  4. Completion of NFHS Concussion in Sports Certification (annually) (nfhslearn.com )
  5. Completion of OSAA Steroid Prevention Course (every four years)
  6. Completion of NFHS Heat Acclimatization and Heat Illness Prevention (every two years) (nfhslearn.com)
  7. Completion of NFHS Engaging Effectively With Parents (nfhslearn.com )
  8. Completion of NFHS Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment (nfhslearn.com )
