Bethel School District is seeking qualified applicants for a temporary 8 hours per day School - to - Work Coordinator for Kalapuya High School for the remainder of the 2017 - 18 school year.

SCHOOL-TO-WORK COORDINATOR

 

Nature of Work

A school-to-work coordinator supports students in their efforts to find a meaningful career. The school-to-work coordinator will be responsible for developing an internship program for Kalapuya High School students and assist students in exploration and preparation to obtain work and college experience that may lead towards a career.

 

Examples of Work These duties are illustrative only. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Supervision

Direct supervision is provided by the principal and/or an assistant principal. Work is performed within established policy and procedures. Supervisors will assist with unusual or non-recurring problems. Work is reviewed by the supervisor for completeness, timeliness, and quality of support provided to students, staff, and outside agencies.

Selection Factors

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated public relations and communication skills. Knowledge and

ability to work with students in job sites to make effective placements. Valid Oregon driver’s license and ability to get a Type 20 Activity Vehicle license to transport students. Any satisfactory combination of experience, training, and aptitude that ensures the ability to perform the work may be substituted for the required experience.
