A successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

The WHS Head JV Baseball Coach will be responsible for the following:

The WHS Head JV Softball Coach reports directly to the Varsity Softball Coach, Athletic Director and Principal and/or their designee.


All coaches recommended for hire must complete the following prior to employment:

  1.  NFHS Coaching Fundamentals Certification (
  2.  Completion of Safe Schools Coursework (annually) and other Bethel School District Requirements
  3.  Fingerprinting/Criminal Background Check.
  4.  Completion of NFHS Concussion in Sports Certification (annually) ( )
  5.  Completion of OSAA Steroid Prevention Course (every four years)
  6.  Completion of NFHS Heat Acclimatization and Heat Illness Prevention (every two years) (
  7.  Completion of NFHS Engaging Effectively With Parents ( )
  8.  Completion of NFHS Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment ( )
